What’s New With Me, Part 2

International United Miss National Pageant
I shared with you that I had won Ms. Pennsylvania through the International United Miss Pageant. After I was crowned, I spent months preparing for Nationals where I would be competing for the national title among women across the country and even the world! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, met some incredibly beautiful and kindhearted women, and made friendships that will last a lifetime. Honestly, my favorite part was getting to know my sister queens from Pennsylvania better! They became the sisters I never had. I had to compete in formal wear, high fashion, introduction, and interview. Then, I also opted to compete in the talent and spokesmodel competition. I am proud to say that I won both of the optional competitions for my age division! For talent, I sang and tap danced to “I Got Rhythm”, the old Gershwin classic. And for the spokesmodel competition, I did the opening of my motivational speech. Oh and our head judge was none other than Cara Mund, Miss America 2018! I’m proud to say that I received a perfect score from her on interview! I finished the competition strong as the 2nd Runner Up. Through pageants, I have found lifelong friends and family and my confidence has skyrocketed as well. I’m so grateful that I took that scary first step back in 2015 to start competing in them. Don’t ever let anything or anyone hold you back from chasing your dreams!
