Two months ago, my dad, his friend, my dad’s friend son, and I took a trip to Toronto for the night to see a World Cup of Hockey game. It was between Canada and Russia in an exciting semifinal round matchup. After we got unpacked and settled into our hotel rooms, we walked to the arena, which only took about 5 or 10 minutes to get there. Once we arrived there, all the fans were already fired up hours before the game even started. There were quite a few Russian fans there, which surprised me because Canada was the home country and Canada is a huge hockey country. Once the game started, the fans were loud and pumped up. Everyone was either wearing their Canada jersey or other kinds of clothes except for the 4 of us. It was an awesome game and Canada won 5-2. The Canadian fans were even more rowdy and happy after the game to the point where I thought they were going to burn the city down. Everyone were high fiving each other through the streets, even the people that didn’t go to the game. It was an awesome experience and hopefully I will have another chance to do this again soon.
