Talia living with Chromosome 18q-
I am going to be 24 years old in October 2023. I was actually born in a hurricane called Irene. This past May, I graduated from the BRIDGE program at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx. I am also a graduate of the GROW Program at the Riverview School in E. Sandwich, MA and Cape Cod Community College’s Project Forward. I enjoy school, hanging out with friends, reading books and fashion mags, and listening to music. I am very social and love to perform!

Advocacy is important to me, because I have confidence in myself and I can ask for help from one of my peers and staff members of the College of Mount Saint Vincent if I need any assistance with assignments and friend drama.
I would like people to know that I am a sophomore at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in a 2-year college program called The Bridge VIP Program and I am expected to graduate in May 2023 with the Class of 2023. I love to spend time with my fellow peers at clubs such as Black Student Union, Delight Ministries, Samahan, International Student Association, Filiment Dance Troupe, CMSV Words, Campus Activities Board, and other events that I attend at the Mount.
The accomplishments I am most proud of are getting crowned as CMSV’s Homecoming Queen at CMSV’s Homecoming Weekend and succeeding in all of my classes; because the Mount is my home forever even though I am graduating from CMSV this spring and having the time of my life doing blogging for Positive Exposure and working at AFYA.
The change I would like to see in the world is more disability rights that need to be changed, because I want to help others with accommodations with disability rights advocates that are trying to get more non-disabled people to help and give them the rights they deserve.
