As I’ve written and spoken about before, I have albinism, which is a rare genetic disorder. I wore a blue ribbon yesterday because I want people to talk about rare disorders.

Why? Doesn’t talking about disorders,  diseases, and disabilities make people uncomfortable?

For now it does, but as we engage more, it can change.
