My boss at work is from Mobile, Alabama and still owns a house down there, so for Mardi Gras this year I had the opportunity to work from her home in Mobile, Alabama. Her house is beautiful, Alabama is beautiful, and the food is amazing!

Mardi Gras originated in 1703. Schools and workplaces are closed for days and there is a parade everyday for a week leading up to Fat Tuesday!

It was such an amazing experience, historical and social. Something I will never forget & I now want to bring Mardi Gras to New York!!
