On Thanksgiving morning, I love to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I like when they show bits of new musicals that are coming out. The performers dance and sing the songs from their shows. I was shocked to find out there is going to be a Sponge Bob musical! I don’t know if I’ll see that one. I want to see the one about Anastasia. The songs sound great.

Another part of the parade I like is the balloons. My favorite is the Pikachu balloon. I’ve always played Pokemon, so it’s fun to see that one come down the street. I also like looking for the new balloons. This year, it was Olaf. He looked so big and so cute!

Finally, I like the bands and the music they make. One year, my sister was in the Great American Marching Band! I didn’t get to go to New York to see her, but it was fun to see her on television. The bands work really hard, so it’s fun to see them accomplish their goals.
